peer to peer chat solutions

I was  looking around for peer  to peer chat solutions,  seeing the
looming EU chat control (one step backwards, two steps forwards).

With the Overton window continually slipping towards the far right,
and the notion "your privacy is nothing compared to my need to feed
AI and sell your data", I think I need to insure my privacy.

I looked at Xeres, but it's Ubuntu only. I need someting stable and
mature, so Deltachat it is.

On Android I'm using the Deltachat app

On Linux I installed deltachat-desktop 

pacman -S deltachat-desktop

Once configured, I installed Arcanechat 

pipx install arcanechat-tui deltachat-rpc-server

and launched it with
arcanechat -f ~/.config/DeltaChat/
