I've been staring at the sirens  of Smolweb and Gemini protocol but
keep coming  back to  Gopher. I find  myself more  easily phlogging
than blogging,  in fact I've given up blogging as I had very little
feedback  or encouragement.  Shouting  into the  wind  via the  web
amounted to  a lot of  work, whereas  phlogging is simply  type and
send, and is  far more suited to my current  mindset of been there,
done that, got the T-Shirt. I wrote  my first web site in 1996, and
for  a while  I  wrote  web sites  for  customers,  along with  web
applications. All from scratch as I never wanted to depend on other
peoples software.

So yeah, now, Gopher does it for me.

Otherwise, I did my back in this morning testing out new armchairs.
Sadly I found none adapted to  my  height  and  weight,  every  one 
seemed to be built for a short 55kg widow. I'll have to look around
further afield.
