Gopher, Chawan and Markdown files

There's a couple of ways of  rendering Markdown files in Chawan, as
a filter,  with an external  command, or via  Chawan's auto.mailcap
file

IMHO the best is via the auto.mailcap file

1) make sure pandoc is installed

2) make sure your mime.types file contains the line:

text/markdown markdown md

3) in .config/chawan/auto.mailcap add:

text/markdown; pandoc - -f markdown -t html -o -; x-htmloutput

with  this, selecting  .md files  in  Chawan will  display them  as
markdown
