Artix and dinit-wpa_supplicant Sat, 06 Dec 2025 09:14:02 +0100 +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ I'm using a Thinkpad X270 with an Intel ac2100 wifi/bluetooth card Try as I might, I couldn't get dinit-wpa_supplicant to work. The default installation uses "wlan0" instead of wlan0, which I corrected, but it just turned on the wificard without running dhpcd. So I gave up and wrote my own connection script that is launched when I log in via .xinitrc: doas wpa-connect #!/usr/bin/env bash rm /run/wpa_supplicant/* wpa_supplicant -B -i wlan0 \ -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf sleep 1 dhcpcd Kinda sucky, but hey it works, while dinit-wpa_supplicant doesn't. EDIT I'm a dumbass, I forgot that you also need to install dhcpcd-dinit. I still needed to edit /etc/dinit.d/config/wpa_supplicant.conf and remove the quote marks around the device name. ␌
