Until now I've been running my own email server (mailcow) on an OVH
vps, but  unfortunately spamhaus now  blacklists the entire  OVH IP
segment.  After getting  mail refused  yet again  when emailing  an
American friend I've had enough.

So I went and got myself a Protonmail account.

Protonmail is  a Swiss  based encrypted  email service  invented by
CERN scientists,  originally for their  own use. Difficult  to find
more private and secure.

Their free accounts allow up to 1Gb of data, but for 4€/month you
can  get  15Gb  and  the  possibiity to  tie  your  domain  to  the
Protonmail account.

The web interface seems ok to me, the Android app too.

There's a  Protonmail bridge  that allows you  to use  your desktop
email clients with Proton but I haven't tried it yet.

I still  have other  accounts on  my mail  server, but  I'm looking
forward to  the day  I get rid  of it.  At my age  stress is  to be
avoided.
